Who may apply on the RDP page?
Candidates belonging to the category Romanians Abroad: Romanian citizens domiciled abroad and foreign citizens of Romanian ethnicity.
What type of studies does the RDP page cover?
The page covers admission for the following study routes: Preparatory Year of Romanian Language, Undergraduate Studies, and Master’s Degree Studies (depending on your selected option and the applicable conditions).
Is registration 100% online?
Yes. Registration is conducted entirely via admitereonline.utcb.ro.

How long does registration take?
On average, approximately 2 minutes, provided that your documents are prepared and clearly scanned.
May I select multiple fields or multiple options?
No. For the RDP category, you may select only one option: a single field of study, taught in Romanian.
What should I do if I do not know Romanian?
You must complete the Preparatory Year of Romanian Language, in accordance with the published procedure and instructions.
What additional document must I upload compared to a regular candidate?
A document certifying that you belong to the category Romanians Abroad, in accordance with the requirements specified in the platform.
What does “Submitted for validation” mean?
It means that you have submitted your application file to the admission committee for verification, after uploading the required documents and completing all steps within the platform.
What does “Validated” mean?
The committee has reviewed your file and confirmed that the documents and information provided are accurate and compliant.
What does “Eligible” mean?
After the registration period closes, validated files become eligible for the next stage of the admission process, in accordance with the calendar.
When do I receive the examination ID?
Once your file becomes eligible, the examination ID will appear in your personal account on the platform.
How are places allocated under the RDP category?
Admission is organized at the university level, by study cycle (Preparatory Year / Undergraduate / Master’s). Places are allocated first to tuition-free places with scholarship, followed by tuition-free places without scholarship. Candidates who do not fall within the available number of places are declared rejected.
After becoming eligible, must I submit documents in person at the university?
No. Confirmation of the allocated place is carried out by uploading a specific annex in the platform, in accordance with the published instructions and calendar.
Where can I view the results?
In your personal account on admitereonline.utcb.ro and in the lists published on admitere.utcb.ro.
How do I submit an appeal regarding the admission process?
Appeals must be submitted by email to secretariat@utcb.ro, strictly within the deadline specified in the admission calendar.
